Greetings fellow travelers!
I've started this post to share my thoughts on current events as a whole - the fact that the Earth's atmosphere is changing and causing unusual weather, the widespread protests of corporate power all over the world, and the belief that many religions have that the new millennium will bring some kind of new era to Earth - whether it be positive or negative still seems up in the air.
I believe that evolution is speeding up and that it's happening right now. There are 7 billion people on the planet and that is too many for the Earth to sustain, as long as we keep acting the way we do. It seems that if we shared our resources and moved completely to renewable, clean energy, we might be able to sustain ourselves without too much violent, unexpected loss of life. However so far we're not making the changes we need to make.
Some things here will be based on personal observation, and I might throw in some research. But if you want to comment and throw in your own research, that would be great! Please note the "sarcastic" part of my blog name means that comments will often be biting and facetious, and please don't take offense. But if you do, let me know! It doesn't mean I'll change anything but I'd be interested to hear what you have to say.
